We All Need a Savior

Bible Scripture Romans 10:9-13

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9-13

As long as I can remember, I have heard these verses quoted time and time again. Although our world has changed over time, God has not changed. He is still the same, yesterday, today, and forever more!

Today's lesson, I felt impressed on my heart to remind you that God loves you. No matter where you stand in life. God is reaching out his love towards you.

We, people, tend to have favorites such as favorite friend, favorite athlete, or favorite celebrity. God, on the other hand, has no respect of persons. He loves all the same equally. He loves the poor as much as he loves the rich. He loves the black as much as he loves the white. He loves the sinner as much as he loves the saint. He loves the weak as much as he loves the strong. God's love is like no other. His love is pure.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:3

We all know that Christ died for sins and that he paid the ultimate price for our soul that no other would ever pay. He willingly gave his life so that you could experience eternal life with him. Many people today believe they can go to heaven by living in any way they wish, but my friend that's not true. We must repent and then turn away from the sins we committed. If we continually perform the same sins over and over, it's not true repentance.

The bible says "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17"

All have sinned and everyone makes mistakes. We are flesh and we are going to fail at times, but just like the Bible teaches us we must humble ourselves as children and remember to ask God to help us daily walk closer to him.

Our first lesson is to remind us all. We need a Savoir and his name is Jesus. Will you give him a chance? Will you allow God to have control over your life? Will you submit to him?
